My Beauty Favs

There are some make-up products that I absolutely cannot live without!! Well, perhaps I could live without a few of these, but I don’t want to! Check out all of my favorite go-to products at the moment:

  1. Urban Decay Brow Box in Brown Sugar – I use this brow box every single day! It includes everything you need to groom, tweeze and fill-in your eyebrows. It even includes a tiny angled brush!
  2. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Trinidad – This foundation goes on very smooth and sheer, which works well for me since I don’t necessarily need full coverage. I normally set it with Mac’s Mineralized Skin Finish.
  3. Mac Mineralized Skin Finish in Deep Dark – I’ve been using this powder for a few years now and I still love it. For days when I don’t want to go through the process of beating my entire face, I will wear this alone instead of foundation. In the sun, it has a little shimmer to it, which gives a nice glow.
  4. NARS Blush in Amour – I just recently purchased this blush, but I am loving it so far. Even though I have to reapply it during the day, I find that it is very pigmented.
  5. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Pen in Black – I’ve tried a lot of eyeliners, but I love this one because once you put it on, it does not move! I have oily eyelids so for the most part my eyeliners usually transfer onto my upper lids when I don’t wear eyeshadow. I don’t have that problem with this eyeliner. Feels like I am lining my eyes with a sharpie!
  6. Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara in Black – I love YSL’s Radical Noir Mascara, but since that is $30 and this one is only $6…I am settling for the Maybelline Falsies Flared! Regardless, this mascara is great. It elongates my lashes and if I apply more than one coat then I get great volume without looking overdone. I definitely think this is one of the best drug store mascaras…
  7. Revlon Lipstick in Fuchsia Fusion – I had been wearing Mac’s Girl About Town, but I find that it can be quite drying so when I heard that Revlon had a color that was similar, I decided to try it. I love this color, it really brightens my face and makes me feel like a true grown up!

I am normally a gloss girl, but somehow lipsticks have crept their way into my life…Lol. I didn’t list any eyeshadows because I haven’t been wearing eyeshadows much lately. When I do, I either use the Urban Decay Naked Palette or the NYX Runway Collection Palette in Champagne and Caviar (both are neutral colored palettes).

Another Nail Polish Haul

Hey Ladies!

I decided to try something different with this nail polish haul. I made a video instead of making you read all of my rambling…I hope you all enjoy it…It took me forever just to record and upload and I didn’t even do any editing…Whew!

Ann Taylor Sale

Normally I am a Loft girl all the way, but I was in Ann Taylor some weeks ago and fell in love with this oversized hobo. It was a bit pricey so I left it there, but I discovered that they are having a 40% off sale online as well as in stores, and I had to cop it! Anywhooo, if you love Ann Taylor, or simply have seen one must have piece in their collection, then be sure to check out their sale…XOXO

Quick Post: Nails of the Day

I am just now getting into glitter nail polish and I am loving the Beyond the Mistletoe Collection from Color Club. I wanted the Deborah Lippmann glitter polishes, but they are just so expensive and I couldn’t bring myself to pay $18 for each one.

Anywhoo, I thought I would put on Color Club’s Pure Energy and I put Beyond the Mistletoe on every other finger…Loves it!

Marc Jacob Arm Candy…

During one of my daily browsing sessions on Nordstrom’s website I came across some accessories from the Marc by Marc Jacob collection that I find quite HOT. I’ve never really paid attention to this brand outside of looking at the handbags and wallets. However, this line actually have some pretty nice accessories as well! I especially love the bracelet with the colored stones:

Color Club: Back to Boho Collection

Okay, I know that I’ve talked about nail polish a lot in my last couple of posts, but what can I say?! Nail polish is an accessory too! Lol…Anyway, since we are still talking about Fall, I thought I’d show you guys a collection that I think is perfect for those of you who don’t have any Fall colors in your collection yet. Here is Color Club’s Back to Boho Collection. I am sure that I am totally late on this one, but I had to tell you guys about it! Unfortunately, I already own very similar colors so I only purchased one polish from this collection (New Bohemian). Check them all out below:

Row One (From Left to Right): Nomadic in Nude, Earthy Angel, New Bohemian, Shabby Drab, Rad Nomad, and Red-ical Gypsy.

Row Two (From Left to Right): Boho Mojo, N0uveau Vintage, Voo Doo You Do, Artsy Crafty, Blue-Topia, and Rebel Spirit.

I especially love the metallics and the nude shades. Be sure to Google the names so that you can see how each colors look on actual nails. I discovered all of these on Head2ToeBeauty… As you already know, that is my favorite place to purchase this brand as well as many other brands that are hard to find in local stores.

Also be sure to check out their Beyond the Mistletoe and Back Stage Pass Collections if you are looking for glitter polishes that may be similar to the  ones in Deborah Lippman’s collection. Their Foiled Collection also has some pretty hot colors too! Happy Shopping!! XOXO

Leopard Wasted!!

I have somewhat of an obsession with leopard right now…It began, as you guys saw, with a belt and a scarf and now I’ve moved on to tops and sweaters. Side Note: I also just ordered a leopard envelope clutch from Asos. I’ve been trying to pick up things here and there for the fall season and I stumbled upon these tops in Forever 21:

About $15 (I can't remember the price...Lol)

Under normal circumstances I do not buy sequin tops. However, this first top was calling my name. It only has sequins on the front of the top and I figured that it would look great with a chic blazer.

The second top is a 3/4 length sweater with cuffed sleeves. It almost looks like a blazer and can probably be worn with any solid colored top.

The third top I’ve worn several times already. It is so comfortable and can be dressed up with dress pants or down with ripped jeans. It has a biased hem so the front is up higher than the back and I love it!

Happy Shopping! XOXO
