So I decided to try my hand at a half moon manicure since all the nail salons I called last week couldn’t guarantee me that they had a nail tech that could reproduce the look. In the photos below I used Revlon’s Bubble Gum and OPI’s My Boyfriend Scales Walls. This manicure is a little more difficult than one might think. Instead of buying a bunch of new polish, I decided to go through all the polish I have and force myself to wear them. In the midst of organizing the polish that I have and figuring out how to display them in such a way that I can see all the colors, I found Julep’s Audrey. I have had this polish for months, and I remember trying it on, but I don’t recall ever actually wearing it. So I decided to paint my nails with it last night:
Can I just say the shimmer is this color is amazing, and the pictures really don’t do it justice. Audrey is a pale pink polish with a gorgeous silver shimmer. I believe I got this color in a Julep mystery box. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a low key neutral color, and can still get your hands on this one, you may want to cop it. It’s a nice twist on the traditional pinky nude polish that I am used to seeing. It’s a bit sheer so you will need at least three coats. You can find it on sale here.

So I was at work yesterday, flipping through the latest issue of Nail It Magazine (November/December) and I noticed the name Nicole…Then I saw Kelli Nicole…And why it took so long for me to realize that I was looking at my own name is beyond me. But there it was, with the name of my blog, quoting my thoughts on the magazine. I think I literally squealed at my desk, I was so excited.
